Instructions


  1. 1) Entrepreneurs can apply for the scheme. All applications are to be made only through the online portal.
  2. 2) If the entrepreneur is not a certificate holder, a consent letter from an individual holding a D.Pharm / B.Pharm certificate must be obtained and submitted.
  3. 3) Cooperative societies with a drug license are also eligible to apply.
  4. 4) A valid email ID and mobile number are mandatory for applying. All communications will be sent to the registered email ID and mobile number.
  5. 5) Certificates to be uploaded include:
    • i) Pharmacist course completion certificate
    • ii) Pharmacy council registration certificate
    • iii) Pharmacy council ID and other applicable certificates
    • iv) Building ownership document/NOC from the owner (if rented)
    • v) Rental Agreement (if rented)
  6. 6) All the particulars entered in the online application including name, address, e-mail id, mobile number, educational qualification, building particulars etc., will be considered as final. Hence the applicant is requested to fill the online application with utmost care.
  7. 7) Entrepreneurs can start the ‘Mudhalvar Marundhagam’ in their own building or in a rental building with NOC from the owner after obtaining a pharmacy license.
  8. 8) The selected location for the pharmacy must be easily accessible to the public.
  9. 9) The online applications received will be forwarded to Field Officer for field verification. After getting the report from F.O, applications will be scrutinized.
  10. 10) the selected applicants will be intimated about the selection through sms in their registered mobile number.
  11. 11) The selected applicant must enter into an agreement (available on the Mudhalvar Marunthagam website) with TNCCF
  12. 12) After executing the agreement, the first installment of ₹1.5 lakh will be released to the applicant’s bank account.
  13. 13) After the second field verification by the F. O, the final installment of the subsidy will be released in the form of generic medicines worth ₹1.5 lakh as kind portion.
  14. 14) Entrepreneurs opting for loans will be facilitated through cooperative banks.
  15. 15) Selected entrepreneurs will be given a Government grant of 3 Lakh. Of this, 50% will be given as cash for infrastructure facilities development and 50% given in kind as medicines for sale
  16. 16) Stock must be procured only from TNCCF district godowns.
  17. 17) Pharmacy SOP must be followed.
  18. 18) Agreement with TNCCF must be followed.
  19. 19) Subsidy is given with the understanding that a minimum of 3 years’ operation under Mudhalvar Marunthagam banner will be conducted and the premises would not be used for any other purposes.

Required Documents List

To Obtain Tamil Nadu Drug License

  1. 1) Form 19, 20, 21 as application
  2. 2) Covering letter to the Assistant Director of Drugs Control of the concerned
  3. 3) Authorization document signed by the authorized signatory
  4. 4) Declaration form signed by the applicant, pharmacist, or competent person
  5. 5) Details of premises:
    • i) Ownership document
    • ii) Rental agreement
    • iii) Signed plan
  6. 6) Pharmacist/competent person’s details (Registration certificate, educational qualification, experience certificate)
  7. 7) Applicant details (firm/company constitution, photos, ID/address proof, legal tenancy affidavit)
  8. 8) Details of storage accommodation
  9. 9) In case of change of premises or constitution, enclose the following
    • i) Original license
    • ii) Documents related to change in constitution like sale deed, reconstitution/dissolution deed
    • iii) Amalgamation court long with board resolution and any other document order if it is compulsory.
    • iv) Purchase bills of AC and refrigerator along with working condition/installation certificate
    • v) Any other document or particulars to verify the correctness of the particulars submitted by the applicant if required.
